About Us

In search of a family pet we visited many local pounds and adoption agencies. Our search led us to the local greyhound track in Rhode Island. We had heard about the opportunity to rescue retired race dogs. After spending several hours with the greyhounds and walking nearly a dozen of the dogs around the parking lot we fell in love with the doe like creatures. We found our pet and took home a 75 pound, 3 year old brindle male that we named Lincoln. Having never left the confines of the race track, Lincoln was confused and awkward as he maneuvered around our small house. After a couple of days, he quickly adjusted and he provides us with loyalty and affection every day. It is hard to believe that he spent his years in a cage. Our love for Greyhounds and all breeds of dogs have sparked an idea. There are horses, alligators, birds& just about every mammal branded on shirts. Why not a greyhound? So we set out to design a shirt that paid homage to this majestic breed.  Hopefully, our efforts in this endeavor, will help to rescue, raise awareness and protect some of our furry friends. We hope our Greyhound patch will become a favorite fashion accessory. Besides most would agree that Greyhounds make better pets than alligators!!!
